SPECIAL TRAIN FOR SCOTLAND v WALES
RUGBY MATCH Rugby fans travelling to Murrayfield for the Six Nations
rugby international between Scotland and Wales on 8 March 2003 are being
offered the opportunity to take advantage of a special "supporters" train from
South Wales to Edinburgh.
The train is being sponsored by Wales
& Borders Trains in partnership with Pathfinder Tours and Riviera Trains.
It will depart from Swansea on Thursday morning 6 March and call at Neath, Port
Talbot Parkway, Bridgend, Cardiff Central, Newport, Abergavenny, Shrewsbury,
Wrexham, Chester and arrive in Edinburgh at 1755. The return service will
depart from Edinburgh at 1106 on Monday 10 March 2003
The return fares are £80 Standard
class and £99 First class. Group discounts are available for groups of
ten or more and for children aged 5 to 15 years. A buffet service of light
refreshments will also be available on the train.

& Borders Trains said: "The Scottish trip is traditionally very well
supported and this train offers fans a relaxing and enjoyable start to the
weekend".
Reservations, which are compulsory, can
be made by calling Pathfinder Tours on 01453 835414 between 0930 to 1700,
Monday to Friday and 0930 to 2000 on Wednesday. Tickets can also be purchased
from main line railway ticket offices in South Wales between Swansea and
Newport.
Fans could also be in with a chance to
win a weekend in Edinburgh with tickets to the game in a competition on the
Wales & Borders Trains website, offering two pairs of tickets, two night's
